our stand alone solar system provides 100% of our electricity
our sewerage is treated on property in Wisconsin Mounds, a living underground organism which chews up all sewerage waste
our water comes from a spring which gurgles out at the bottom of the cliff above the Hotel
we compost all organic waste and use it in
a fabulous organic garden where guests can pick whatever is in season

Winter is here and the skies are clear. Enjoy sitting round the fire and gaze at the amazing night sky.
Our cabins and camp ground are open but at the moment, the access into the Wolgan Valley is via the gated ‘Donkey Steps’ Road (near The Wolgan Gap). This means that guests need to contact us and book in for their stay.
Guests with a 4WD or All Wheel Drive can drive down The Donkey Steps. But you can’t bring a camper trailer or caravan. Guests with a normal car, need to transfer into our vehicle. We need to escort all guests on their way in and out of the valley because there is a gate at the top of the Donkey Steps.
We are now a very exclusive place, away from the ‘huzz-buzz’ of the world. Come down and enjoy it.
